STÄRKE PERFORMANCE EVENING

Strength refers to power, resilience, and inner strength, but also to the delicate, invisible binding agent of the potato that holds everything together. The invited artists explore this concept, question it, dissect it, and reconstruct it.
Having and demonstrating strength is a skill we urgently need in these unstable times. But strength is not something we can take for granted—it emerges, grows, and develops through interaction with others.
Sometimes we lose it. We withdraw, become quieter, less noticeable—to the point where no one can find us anymore. But in encounters, in the exchange of thoughts, gestures, and experiences, lies the possibility of rediscovering it. Community creates strength. Art creates connection.
Potato starch connects in the kitchen – art connects in life. Performance art as a link between art and everyday life: a space for the immediate, the transient, which defies rapid consumption and instead brings us together in other, more sensual ways.
Performance art is not a manifestation for eternity, but an intense, fleeting experience. Its potential lies not in permanence, but in the moment, in presence, and in transformation. Three artists – three perspectives. Each brings their own artistic style, their own questions, and their own body to this evening. They create performative situations – fragile yet powerful at once – that point deep into the human condition.
“Strength” is an invitation to surrender to the moment, to intertwine with the unpredictable and to share an experience that lasts – not as an object, but as a resonance.
